Chiangmai with markets, elephant camps, historical Ayuthaya and World Heritage Sites of Sukhothai, Si Satchanalai, and a tour by horse carriage in Lampang. Eat your way with a walking tour of Bangkok’s Chinatown at night. The amazing rain forest in Khao Soke for walks and canoeing awaits for exploration. The trip ends with a transfer to either Phuket or Krabi for an optional extension for beach time.
Day 1, Arrival into Chiangmai
Transfer to your hotel from airport by your guide. If time permits visit the wonderful night bazaar for browsing, shopping or dinning..
Day 2, Chiangmai
Travel to Mae Taeng (one and a half hour’s drive). The elephant ride for 30 minutes explores the lush valley of Mae Taeng. Travel by ox-cart to visit Mae Taman Village. Buffet lunch at the Elephant Nature Park is followed by bamboo rafting on the river for about one hour. Return to Chiangmai early evening. Overnight in Chiangmai.
Day 3, Chiangmai
Free day to explore on your own. Possibilities are endless – (cooking schools, botanical gardens, zip lining through jungle tops, temples.)

Day 4, Chiangmai to Lampang
Visit Wat Phra that Doi Suthep on Suthep Hill, and Hmong village.Travel to Lampang. City tour by horse-drawn carriage for about one hour in the evening. Overnight in Lampang
Day 5, Lampang to Sukothai and Pitsanulok
Travel to SisatchanalaiHistoricalPark, tour and on to Sukothai Historical Park. Continue on to Pitsanuloke. (Optional: in the evening, tricycle trip around the town with watching the sky-floating morning glory). Overnight at Pitsanulok
Day 6, Pitsanulok - Bangkok
Visit Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha That where Phra Buddha Chinnaraj is housed. This is the most beautiful Buddha statue of Thailand. Visit the Folklore Museum at Ban Ja Thawee. Continue on to Ayuthaya, visit Thailand’s old capital before proceeding to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 7, Bangkok
This is an all day trip to the famous Damnernsaduak Floating market (including a paddle boat trip) and the River Kwai (including a visit to the Thailand–Burma Railway Center, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. Visit the Allied War Cemetery, the final resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war (POWs). Continue to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by allied POWS. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 8, Bangkok
Free day to explore on own. If it’s a weekend, check out the giant flea market at Chatuchak with bargains and food galore. Perhaps take a taxi to Grand Palace. This evening is an exploration of Bangkok’s bustling Chinatown on a foodie’s walking tour. These are small groups, and you will be eating along the way, mostly wonderful street food. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 9, Bangkok - Phuket – Khao Soke National Park
Very early morning flight to Phuket. Transfer from airport for the 3 hours drive to Khao Sok National Park. After lunch start exploring the park via canoes. Overnight at Our Jungle House (Deluxe Treetop house)
Day 10, Khao Soke - Rajaprapa Lake
There may be other participants on this trip today. After breakfast, travel to Rajaprapa Lake (by van and boat). Hike to Coral or Nam Thalu cave, depending on availability). After lunch, canoe or swim or relax on the lake. Return to overnight at Our Jungle House (Deluxe Treetop house).
Day 11, Khao Soke - Half day Nature walk - Transfer to Phuket or Krabi
After a leisurely breakfast a short trek designed to show a variety of ecological environments including big trees, jungle vines, lianas, palms, ferns, wild orchids, bamboo forest, insects, reptiles and sometimes mammals is arranged. It is not a wildlife safari but a chance to see the rainforest with its diversity of flora and fauna. Return to Our Jungle House for lunch. Transfer to Krabi or Phuket (3 hours drive)
Rates include: 10 nights accommodation in a twin-share basis at 3 star hotels, some meals, transportation by air-conditioned car or van, boat fee, admission fee as per itinerary, all activities as mentioned in the program, an English speaking guide, a travel insurance (Bht1,000,000 / person.)
“Our Jungle House” situated in Khao Sok is on 25 acres of privately owned rainforest. It is a place apart, quiet and peaceful. Hornbills, several species of monkeys, and other fascinating wildlife are frequent visitors. Your tree house or bungalow accommodation will look out over a clear stream to majestic limestone cliffs.
