Indonesia is a country that you could travel to over and over again with the hundreds of
Islands that make up the country there is a place for everyone. The country is full of tropical
scenery, beautiful beaches, Orangutans and white-water rafting. Don't forget the people, whom
have made it possible for this beautiful country to retain its history and culture.
This is not for everyone.
You will only do this if you want to be totally exhausted at the end of your trip - by fun, lots of walking, lugging your back packs all over, overnight trains, small hotels, and with a group of 11 to 16 or maximum 24 other like minded international travelers. These programs offer great value.

Island of the Gods

the dream holiday in a fantastically varied journey through two islands the gods should have kept
to themselves - the Islands of the Gods, Bali and Lombok.
Days 1-2 Ubud
Bali's cultural heart boasts a great array of galleries and shops for art lovers to explore. Trawl the Gianyar night market for delicious local food.
Day 3 Sidemen
Take a leisurely bike ride, passing through back lanes, rice paddies and past beautiful temples - a great opportunity to meet the locals.
Day 4 Mt Batur
Sample a traditional takeaway lunch in the cool mountain air before moving on to a small fishing village by Lake Batur.
Day 5 Banyupoh
Hike to the summit of Mt Batur in time for sunrise. Trade mountains for the beach and a chance to snorkel, scuba dive or swim in pristine waters.
Days 6-7 Lovina
Get off the beaten track exploring colourful coffee and clove plantations before taking a dip beneath a hidden waterfall on a half-day walk in Munduk.
Day 8 Ubud
Admire one of Bali's most beautiful temples, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, situated in the centre of a glassy lake, before travelling back to Ubud.
Day 9 -10 Tetebatu
Stock up on snacks from street vendors for the long ferry ride to Lombok. Once there, wander around this peaceful hill retreat to the discover local Sasak culture. This village has a languid charm and is famous for its great views of the magnificent Mt Rinjani.
Day 11 Senaru
Sitting in the shadow of Mt Rinjani, picturesque Senaru awaits. Explore tiny villages and markets and try a hot cup of locally brewed coffee.
Days 12-13 Gili Island
Away from the noise of modern life, and accessible only by boat, the Gili Islands are the ultimate getaway. Snorkel, dive or soak up the sun on pristine beaches.
Days 14-15 Senggigi
Enjoy a final feast in Senggigi before bidding farewell to Indonesia.

Traveling overland through Java and Bali is a wonderful introduction to the incredible diversity
of the Indonesian archipelago. We travel from the culturally rich and historically important Java,
via lively towns and nature reserves, to the sheer beauty and tranquility of Bali. There are lots
of opportunities to get to know our local friends as we walk through rice paddies, climb an active
volcano and visit the ancient temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. If a blend of active adventure
and relaxation sound appealing, this is the trip for you. Please note that this trip is available
in both Westbound and Eastbound directions.
Day 1 Jakarta
Take time to learn about Indonesia's ancient and modern history at the National Museum or peruse fine art at Balai Seni Rupa.
Days 2-4 Pangandaran
Search for exotic wildlife on a walk through the stunning coastal reserve. Explore the countryside by bicycle or visit the vibrant Green Canyon. Make sure to return in time to see the fruit bats fly over the west beach at sunset.
Days 5-7 Yogyakarta
Java's cultural heart has a great atmosphere. From the sprawling palace to the bird markets, batik workshops and the extraordinary Hindu and Buddhist temples nearby, 'Yogya' is one of the most appealing cities in Asia.
Day 8 Seloliman Nature Reserve
Learn all about traditional medicines at the Seloliman Nature Reserve, a peaceful patch of forest on the slopes of Mt Penanggungan.
Day 9 Mt.Bromo
Travel to the fertile homeland of the Tenggerese people. Up before dawn the following day, cross the spectacular Sea of Sand to climb the smouldering Mt Bromo as the sun rises over East Java.
Days 10-11 Lovina
Enjoy surf, sea and sand on one of Bali's most charming beaches. Take a boat out to see dolphins, snorkel or scuba dive along the reef, enjoy a Balinese banquet or visit a Buddhist monastery.
Day 12 Tirta Gangga
There's free time to swim in the Raja's old stone pools or explore the lush green rice terraces that surround the village.
Days 13-15 Ubud
With artists, woodworkers and silversmiths workshops lining the town's streets, Ubud is an art-lover's dream. End the adventure with an energetic kecak dance performance, where dancers whip themselves into a trance-like frenzy
Lombok

Lombok is the ideal Bali alternative, with the beauty left in and the crowds taken out! This is a
trip for those who enjoy getting off the beaten track to spend time in small villages in out of
the way places. For people who want to meet other people of different cultures and have wonderful
experiences knowing that few others have experienced them. Lombok is a special island for us - we
trust it will be for you too.
Day 1 Ubud
Bali's artistic centre overflows with artisans selling handicrafts, wood carvings and metalwork. Arrive early to browse their wares, explore nearby villages or see the surrounding countryside by bicycle. Perhaps visit the eccentric Blanco Renaissance Museum or investigate the lively Ubud restaurant scene.
Day 2-3 Tetebatu
tock up on snacks from food hawkers on the ferry ride to Lombok. Catch a bemo (minibus) to the peaceful hill retreat of Tetebatu, famed for its great views of the magnificent Mt Rinjani. Visit the local village of Pringgasela, learn about traditional weaving and enjoy a delicious Sasak feast.
Day 4 Mt.Rinjani/Senaru
Wake before dawn for great views of sunrise over Mt Rinjani. After a short ride in cidomos (horse-drawn carts) and a spot of shopping at the market, head to the village of Limbungan. Here, gain culinary bragging rights and sample fried grasshopper. Spend the night in Senaru, nestled between Mt Rinjani and the jungle.
Days 5-6 Gili Islands
Stretch those legs on a walk to the Sindang Gila waterfall, before taking a boat to the laid-back island of Gili Air. Laze on the isolated shores, learn to scuba dive or spot turtles and reef sharks while snorkelling.
Days 7-8 Senggigi
Enjoy a final day on the pristine Gili beaches before heading back to the mainland for a farewell dinner.
Bali Adventure
9 days starting and ending in Ubud for $720.00 land only.

Bali is an exquisite tropical island with the ability to capture any visitor's imagination. With
large expanses of luscious green rice fields and small villages bursting with character, it's not
surprising that Bali is a favorite traveleršs destination. We believe the best way to experience
the true magic of Bali is to head into the quieter areas of the island - a side of Bali where we
can walk, cycle, snorkel and swim in blissful tropical surrounds.
Day 1-2 Ubud
Bali's largest Hindu town is also its artistic and cultural heart. There is plenty of free time to browse the many craft shops, meet monkeys in their forest sanctuary or, for the more adventurous, go white-water rafting. Enjoy a Balinese cultural performance in the evening.
Day 3 Sideman
Take to the backstreets of Ubud and beyond by bicycle. Stop and admire some of the intricately carved temples along the way. Afterwards, head to the hills and the peaceful, scenic village of Sidemen, set against the backdrop of Bali's highest peak, Mt Agung. This friendly village is a great place to chill out and meet the locals.
Day 4 Mt Batur
Learn the art of songket weaving at a local workshop before enjoying a traditional bungkus (take-away) lunch. Trek into the mountains afterwards for wonderful views of Bali's volcanic landscape and maybe a refreshing dip in the river.
Day 5 Banyupoh
Rise early and venture out into the cool, eerie darkness to climb Mt Batur. From the summit, take in the spectacular sunrise and perhaps have eggs for breakfast, cooked over the volcano's sulphuric vents. For a sea change, head down to the coast for a day of snorkelling or scuba diving among some of Bali's impressive reefs in the Bali Barat National Park.
Day 6-7 Lovina
The beachside fishing village of Lovina is a great base for exploring the north coast of Bali. Take the chance to head out on outrigger boats to view dolphins. Spend a day exploring local villages and markets.
Day 8-9 Ubud
Admire one of Bali's most beautiful temples, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, situated in the centre of a glassy lake, before travelling back to Ubud. Pick up some last-minute souvenirs or enjoy a final Balinese banquet before bidding the island goodbye.
