    Thailand Unveiled ( 6 days / 5 nights )
    Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Sukhothai - Lampang - Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai

    One of the most popular trips to explore Thailand's best destinations, on this unhurried trip we drive north from Bangkok with several stops on the way to visit highlights including the World Historical Heritage sites at Ayuthaya, Sukhothai, and Si Satchanalai and also experience a lovely city tour by horse-drawn carriage at Lampang. In Chiang Rai the northernmost province of Thailand we have ample time to explore the ancient town of Chiang Saen, enjoy a Mekong boat trip in the Golden Triangle where Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand meet, and visit the diverse hill tribes at Doi Mae Salong before proceeding to Chiang Mai.

    Besides sightseeing in the beautiful town of Chiang Mai and vicinity, we will have time to experience an elephant riding and rafting at the scenic Mae Taeng valley before we return to Bangkok by plane on the next day.

    Day 1
    Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Pitsanulok
    Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok, travel by an air-conditioned van to visit Bang Pa In , Royal Summer Palace, and Ayutthaya Historical Park. After lunch, continue to Pitsanuloke. Visit Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha That where Phra Buddha Chinnaraj is housed. This is the most beautiful Buddha statue of Thailand. If time permit, we will also visit the Folklore Museum at Ban Ja Thawee. (Optional: tricycle trip around the town with watching the sky-floating morning glory.) Overnight hotel A or B. (Lunch)

    Day 2
    Pitsanulok - Sukothai - Si Satchanalai - Lampang
    After breakfast, travel to Sukothai (1 hr. drive) and visit Sukothai Historical Park and Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Then visit to Thung Luang Village before continuing the trip to Lampang on the scenic route with a visit to the amazing Wat Phra That Chom Ping and the magnificent Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. City tour by horse-drawn carriage for about one hour in the evening. Overnight at hotel A or B. ( Breakfast / Lunch )

    Day 3
    Lampang - Phayao - Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Mae Sai
    After breakfast travel to Phayao (131 kms.), visit to Kwan Phayao and Wat Sri Komcome, the oldest temple in Payao. Continue the trip to Chiang Rai (94 kms.). After lunch continue on to Chiang Saen, the ancient first Northern Thai capital, then proceed to the Golden Triangle where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand meet. We have a boat trip on Mekong River for about 45 minutes for sightseeing Myanmar and Laos. Visit Ban Sai Khao, a village of Laos located on the bank of Mekong River. After the river cruise, travel to Mae Sai, the trading town at the Myanmar-Thai border. Here is a lively town where hilltribes from Myanmar come to sell their handicrafts. Proceed to Chiang Rai where we will spend the night. After dinner check out the lively Night Bazaar of Chiang Rai, where many hill tribes sell their products. Overnight at hotel A or B.     Day 4
    Chiang Rai - Doi Mae Salong - Hill Tribes - Fang - Chiangmai
    After breakfast proceed to Doi Mae Salong with visit to Hilltribes - Yao Village, Lisu Village and Akha Village and "Jin Hor" (Chinese migrated from Yunnan). Continue the trip to Tha Ton, Fang, and Chiang Dao Buddhist Caves famous for their beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Late afternoon, arrive Chiang Mai. Overnight at hotel A or B. (Breakfast / Lunch / traditional welcome Kantoke Dinner in northern style)

    Day 5
    Chiangmai
    After breakfast visit the Mae Taeng Elephant Camp for elephant riding into the beautiful valley of Mae Taeng (1hr.), and ox-carting to visit a Northern village, Mae Taman Village (1/2 hrs.) Buffet lunch at the Elephant Nature Park. In the afternoon try bamboo rafting and then return to Chiang Mai. Check out the famous Chiangmai night market. Overnight at hotel A or B. (Breakfast / Lunch )

    Day 6
    Chiangmai
    After breakfast visit the Hilltribes Museum and Wat Phra That Doi Suthrep on Suthrep Hill. This is the most revered temple in Chiang Mai. Our service ends after lunch today. You will probably want to extend your stay in Chiangmai or we can transfer you to the airport for your next destination today. ( Breakfast / Lunch )

    Old Kingdom of Thailand (6 days / 5 nights)
                                                                                   

    This tour provides an excellent overview of Thailand’s history, culture, traditions and people, visiting the ancient capitals of Ayutthaya, Kamphaeng Phet, Sukothai , Si Satchanalai, Lampang, Chiang Rai and ending in Chiangmai. This trip is led by an experienced English-speaking guide. Departs Bangkok every Wednesday from selected hotels.       

    Day 1       Wednesday 
    Bangkok/Ayutthaya/Kamphaeng Phet 358 km (Lunch & Dinner)           
    Depart Bangkok in the morning to Ayutthaya, Thailand’s former capital from 1350 to 1767.  Ayutthaya's impressive ruins that stand as noble testament to this once magnificent city.  Proceed to Kampaeng Phet, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Kamphaeng Phet means “Diamond Wall” and was a garrison town that defended Sukhothai from the 14th century onwards. We will visit the historical park which includes several interesting temple ruins.
    In the evening visit the local night market which offers many kinds of street food that Thailand is famous for..
    Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Kamphaeng Phet.

    Day 2       Thursday
    Kamphaeng Phet/Sukhothai/Si Satchanalai/Lampang 265 km  (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
    Travel to the Sukhothai World Heritage Site and visit the many fascinating attractions of Thailand's first capital city which flourished between 1238-1376.  We continue on to the lovely 300-acre site of Si Satchanalai historical park, 67 km north of Sukhothai, and explore this former twin-capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom, including a picturesque temple with a huge laterite stupa.  If time permits visit a local goldsmith who makes beautiful copies of the ancient style of jewelry. Overnight at a resort in Lampang.

    Day 3       Friday
    Lampang/Phayao/Chiang Rai 225 km (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
    Visit Lampang where many Buddhist monasteries were built in Burmese style.  Lampang is also well known as a center for ceramics and pottery. Continue to Chiang Rai via the lakeside town of Phayao, and overnight at a comfortable hotel.
                             

    Day 4       Saturday
    Chiang Rai/Golden Triangle/Mae Sai/Chiang Mai 182 km (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
    Travel to visit Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and Laos. The scenery with the montains and the Mekong River is spectcular.  Continue to Mae Sai at the northernmost tip of Thailand bordering Myanmar.  Here many local and Burmese handicrafts are on display.  Travel to Chiang Mai with stop at Yeo and Akkha hilltribe villages.  In the evening, enjoy traditional northern-style “Kantoke” dinner with a colourful show of northern folk dances and traditional entertainment.

    Day 5       Sunday
    Chiang Mai (Breakfast & Lunch )           
    Morning visit to an elephant camp in the scenic area north of Chiang Mai City. These are working elephants which can play football, and paint!   Continue to an orchid farm for lunch and admire the exotic blooms, including some rare and beautiful species.  Then visit the most sacred hilltop temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep.  Enjoy the weekend market on Ratchadamnoen road which is also known as the "Walking Street ".  

    Day 6       Monday
    Chiang Mai/Bangkok (Breakfast)            
    Get up early this morning to give alms to Buddhist monks at Wat Phrasing. Our trip ends here and we will be happy to help with additional travel plans.

    Mae Kok / Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle ( 3 days / 2 nights )
    Starts in Chiangmai and ends in Chiangmai. We need a minimum of 2 participants for this program.

    A 2-day tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai by road and also by longtail boat, visit an elephant training camp, various hill tribe villages and the Golden Triangle and Mai Sai, an ancient Thai-Burmese trading post.

    Day 1
    Chiangmai - Chiang Rai
    Leave Chiang Mai in the morning for Tha Ton landing on the Mae Kok River with a visit to see elephants at work en route. Start a scenic and unforgettable boat trip along the Maekok River to Chiang Rai, making stops at various hill tribe villages along the way. Lunch and soft drinks are provided. Dinner and overnight stay in Chiang Rai at Wiang Inn or Dusit Island Resort. ( Lunch / Dinner)

    Day 2
    Chiangmai - Chiang Rai
    After breakfast, visit the border town of Mae Sai. Thailand's northernmost point and an ancient Thai-Burmese trading post. Proceed for lunch at the Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Afterwards visit Chiang Saen and its old temple, then fly back to Chiang Mai. Clients can fly direct from Chiang Rai to Bangkok with an additional charge for air fare. (Lunch / dinner)

    Chiang Rai Enchanting Tour ( 4 days / 3 nights )
    Starts in Chiangmai and ends in Chiangrei. We need a minimum of 2 participants for this program. The tour covers most of the interesting areas north of Chiang Mai and the whole of Chiang Rai Province. The 4-day program is designed for you to travel at a leisurely pace to most of the interesting places in the area, hill tribe villages and beautiful scenery.

    Day 1 Chiangmai to Mae Kok River
    Depart Chiang Mai in the morning to visit an orchid farm. Visit the Elephant Training Center and see how the young elephants are trained for use in lumber work. Then take an approximately 90-minute round-trip trek on an elephant to a Lisu village which is inaccessible by other means. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the beautiful Chiang Dao Cave. Then travel to Tha Ton district for an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel overlooking Mae Kok River. (Lunch / dinner)

    Day 2 Mae Kok to Chiang Rai
    After breakfast at the hotel, travel on to Doi (Hill) Mae Salong. On the way stops will be made at various hill tribe villages including the Living Museum at Ban Lorcha for a full tour of the community with hill tribe villagers demonstrating activities normally done in their village but rarely seen by outsiders. The history of Doi Mae Salong began when the KMT (Kuomintang Chinese) came to Doi Mae Salong by circuitous routes. When they fled the communist uprising in China, they first settled in Laos and Burma (now Myanmar). Doi Mae Salong is one of the places allowed by the Thai Government for some Chinese refugees from Myanmar. It is known for its spectacular scenery. Lunch will be in a local Chinese Restaurant on Doi Mae Salong. Then watch the interesting art of tea making and try some Chinese tea before traveling on to Chiang Rai for an overnight stay. ( Breakfast / lunch / dinner )

    Day 3 Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle
    Breakfast at the hotel. Drive north towards Mae Sai, to where a most sacred and elegant temple, Doi Tung is located, on the summit, commanding a spectacular view, especially when the weather is clear. Also visit the palace of the late Princess Mother (the King's mother) and the beautiful botanical garden near the palace. Proceed on to Mae Sai at the northernmost tip of Thailand bordering Myanmar. Lunch at Mae Sai and travel to the Golden Triangle. Visit Wat Pangao and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Mekong River. Also visit the Opium Museum before checking in at a hotel in the Golden Triangle area. ( Breakfast / lunch / dinner )

    Day 4
    Free to depart at anytime today. We can help you book flights to your onward destination. Departure transfer to airport is included.     Chiangmai to Luang Prabang via the Golden Triangle and the Mekong (6 days / 5 nights )
    Starts in Chiangmai and ends in Luang Prabang. We need a minimum of 2 participants for this program. Life in Luang Prabang, the ancient and beautiful capital of Loas moves along at an unhurried pace, and what better way to get there than on a relaxing boat down the Mekong River? Program ends with 3 nights in Luang Prabang to explore this enchanting city this at your own pace.

    Day 1 Chiangmai to Chiang Rai - Chiang Khong
    Pick up by our guide with car/ van for a short visit to Mae Kachan Hotsprings, then visit Mae Sai, Chiang Saen, the Golden Triangle, some weaving villages on the way to Chiang Khong. Overnight at Ruen Thai Sopapan.

    Day 2 Houey Xay - Pakbeng
    Guide will help you cross the border to Houey Xay. You need to be at immigration by 7.30am, as boat leaves at 9.00am. Leave Houey Xay on the Thai border on the Pak Ou for a leisurely cruise down the Mekong to Pakbeng. Several stops along the way offer the opportunity to sample rural life in the villages scattered along the riverbank. Arrive in Pakbeng in time to catch the sunset and dine on the terrace overlooking the Mekong. Overnight in the Luang Say Lodge, Pakbeng. ( Breakfast / lunch / dinner )

    Days 3, 4, 5
    Pakbeng - Pak Ou Caves - Luang Prabang
    After breakfast at the lodge board the boat at Pak Ou for the second leg of the cruise to Pak Ou Caves, stopping for a picnic lunch en route at a fishing village. At Pak Ou, thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues are crammed into the two caves carved out of a towering limestone cliff. They range in size from a few centimeters to the size of a person. Stop off at Ban Sang Hay village to sample some homemade rice wine before disembarking in Luang Prabang. ( Breakfast / lunch )

    3 nights hotel accommodation at Villa Santi Hotel with breakfast. Free to explore Luang Prabang on your own.

    Day 6
    Departure. End of services after breakfast. We can help arrange onward flights to next destination. ( Breakfast )
